Heart of Gold Fellowship
Recognizing Individual Gifts of $1,000 or more annually

CAREGIVERS founded the Heart of Gold Fellowship, an exclusive stewardship group that works in partnership with like-minded donors to transform the lives of vulnerable seniors who are navigating their way through the psycho-social and financial challenges of aging.

Members of the Heart of Gold Fellowship share a powerful commitment to the  most vulnerable in our community through philanthropic support of CAREGIVERS’ mission of promoting the health, well-being, dignity, and independence of frail, homebound elders through one-on-one relationships with trusted volunteers.

Heart of Gold Fellowship members receive exclusive updates and information about CAREGIVERS’ services, as well as opportunities to engage with organizational leaders, volunteers and service providers throughout the year.

You can join this elite group today by committing to a gift of $1,000 or more in support of CAREGIVERS for seniors in your neighborhood and event sponsorship.

Event sponsorship is eligible for Individual Gifts as long as the net result meets the qualifying level.

The Heart & Hands Society
Honoring Gifts of $1,000 or more on an annual basis pledged for 5 or more years. Starting at $83 per month.

The Heart & Hands Society is an elite association of forward-thinking individuals who understand the critical nature of philanthropic investment in order to facilitate social change. The society recognizes individual donors who make a five-year commitment of $1,000 or more each year to help alleviate the challenges faced by the seniors in our community who are outliving their resources and have little to no one else on which to rely.

In order to achieve this vision, CAREGIVERS launched the Heart & Hands Society, a special giving society of individual donors that recognize the need for on-going, sustainable funding. As investors, philanthropists and change agents, members of the Heart & Hands Society commit to donate $1,000 or more on an annual basis for a five-year period. This investment in the long-term sustainability of CAREGIVERS’ programs and services ensures that we will be there when no one else can be — when the needs become too profound and the opportunities become too few. We will be there to offer comfort along the journey and hopefully, a softer landing toward the end of life.

Make your five-year commitment of $5,000 or more and join the Heart & Hands Society today.

Create a Legacy Through Your Planned Gift

Until we find a cure for Old Age, your planned gift to CAREGIVERS today, helps guarantee that 10, 20 — even 50 years from now — seniors in Ventura County will have access to supportive services that help them navigate their final years with dignity and quality of life.

It’s easier than you think. A simple codicil can secure your gift to CAREGIVERS. Just a few words in a letter, copied to our Executive Director, is all that is needed…

“I, [name], of [city, state, zip], give, devise and bequeath to CAREGIVERS (Tax ID 77-0081692) [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose.”

That’s all it takes!

Planned gifts can be funded with cash, stock, real estate, insurance, or other tangible personal property.

Help safeguard the future of CAREGIVERS’ response to isolated, homebound seniors in our community by making a planned gift todayTo discuss options and learn more  about how you can leave a legacy, please contact Tammy I. Glenn, executive director, at (805) 658-8530 or email tammy@vccaregivers.org
